Some of the most important things you can do before a game?
  • Get a good night's rest! (and put the cell phone away!!!)
  • Eat a healthy dinner and breakfast (ice cream, donuts and mocha frappuchino's may sound good, but they are not likely to help you perform!)
  • HYDRATE (drink water).  Hydration needs to start in the DAYS prior to the game... even if it is cold and rainy hydration is important.
  • Pack your game day needs ahead of time, and save your parents some serious headaches!  (Yes, you will need cleats, socks, shorts, jerseys, shinguards, water, and cold-weather gear!!!)
